This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Food Safety Act 1990, The Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995, other appropriate legislation and National Care Standards. It provides an understanding and awareness of a wide range of issues surrounding food hygeine and the need to achieve good standards of food safety and hygiene, combined with a basic knowledge of the methods of preventing food poisoning and contamination.This course is intended for all food handlers and anyone working in a role that involves contact with food, and prior knowledge is neither assumed nor required.Course Duration: 1/2 day.This course accommodates up to 12 participants.
